Ashley has always been passionate about fitness but has struggled with her weight. Now that she has turned her life around, she wants to use her personal experience to help others. There is nothing more valuable to her than helping someone become happy, confident, and strong. She realizes physical fitness affects many aspects of our lives. Ashley finds joy in using her knowledge and expertise to help people of all fitness levels achieve their goals. Ashley has walked in your shoes and will be there for you on every step of on your fitness journey.
I became fascinated with healthy living and nutrition at a very young age in my life. When I went to college, I couldn’t imagine pursuing anything other than Health and Nutrition. I graduated from Southern Oregon University in 2004 with a Bachelors in Health Science in Nutrition and have been working as a weight loss specialist ever since.
I joined the Team at the beginning of 2012 with the desire to incorporate a fitness certification. I became an ACE Certified Personal Trainer in July 2013.
I am very passionate about helping people achieve their personal health and fitness goals!

When I first began my journey with fitness, I was anything but the picture of health. I was overweight and had multiple injuries from which I was still recovering. I knew I had to make a change, not just for me but for my family and children.
After completing my Personal Training Certification and committing to a healthier lifestyle, I lost more than 80lb and truly fell in love with weight training. Taking on a Corrective Exercise specialty through NASM, I found the best possible route to helping others find success. Whether you are post surgery, pre- or post-partum, finding balance and mobility, or are on your own weight loss journey, I have the tools to help your find results.
With 10+ years of experience, I have the opportunity to share my knowledge with the wonderful members of the Grants Pass Family YMCA. I have found a home to call my own with a team that strives for greatness every day.
I am a NASM-certified personal trainer with a passion for transforming lives through fitness., My journey into the world of fitness began when I decided to take charge of my own health. Having lost an incredible 60 pounds myself, I understand the challenges and triumphs that come with making significant lifestyle changes.
My certification ensures that I bring the latest in evidence-based training techniques and nutritional guidance to my clients. Whether you’re looking to shed pounds, build muscle or simply adopt a healthier lifestyle I’m here to support and empower you every step of the way.
My approach is all about personalized fitness plans that are tailored to your unique goals and abilities. I believe in a balanced approach that includes strength training, cardiovascular exercise, flexibility work, and sustainable habits that you can maintain for life.
When I’m not in the gym, you can find me exploring new recipes in the kitchen or enjoying the great outdoors. I’m dedicated not only to helping you achieve your fitness goals but also ensuring you enjoy the journey along the way.
