Synergie™
The YMCA Wellness Center is proud to offer SYNERGIE™ Endermology treatments to the Rogue Valley!
Using Synergie Aesthetic Massage System (AMS)™ by Dynatronics Corporation, our Synergie technicians are available to serve you. The Synergie Aesthetic Massage System™ (AMS) is the ultimate solution for improving both your LYMPHATIC and IMMUNE systems and is FDA approved. Synergie AMS™ uses revolutionary vacuum massage technology proven to improve the appearance of the skin while improving circulation.
The Synergie Endermology System is a non-invasive treatment that uses mechanical massage to stimulate the skin and underlying tissues, providing a range of benefits for both the lymphatic and immune systems. Here’s how it supports these systems:
Lymphatic System Benefits:
- Enhanced Lymphatic Drainage: The Synergie system uses a combination of suction and gentle rolling massage to encourage the flow of lymphatic fluid. This helps in removing excess waste, toxins, and metabolic byproducts that can accumulate in the body.
- Reduction in Fluid Retention: By stimulating the lymphatic vessels, endermology can reduce edema (swelling) and improve overall fluid circulation, leading to a reduction in puffiness and water retention, particularly in areas like the legs, abdomen, and arms.
- Improved Circulation: The gentle mechanical manipulation also enhances blood flow, which supports the lymphatic system in transporting nutrients, oxygen, and immune cells throughout the body, improving overall detoxification and health.
Immune System Benefits:
- Stimulation of Immune Function: The lymphatic system plays a vital role in the immune response by transporting immune cells (such as lymphocytes) and pathogens to lymph nodes for processing. Synergie endermology helps stimulate the lymph nodes, promoting the efficient functioning of the immune system.
- Boosted Detoxification: By supporting the removal of toxins and metabolic waste, endermology indirectly reduces the burden on the immune system, allowing it to focus more effectively on fighting infections and maintaining optimal health.
- Enhanced Skin Health: Healthy skin is an important barrier for the immune system, and by promoting better circulation and nutrient delivery, the Synergie system can enhance the skin’s natural defense mechanisms, contributing to overall immune health.
Other benefits
Body Contouring and Firming:
- Targeted Fat Reduction: The mechanical stimulation encourages the breakdown of localized fat deposits, particularly in areas such as the abdomen, thighs, and arms. This can lead to a more sculpted and toned appearance, especially when combined with a healthy diet and exercise.
- Skin Tightening: By promoting collagen production and improving circulation, Synergie Endermology helps tighten and rejuvenate loose or sagging skin, providing a more youthful and toned appearance.
Pain Relief and Muscle Relaxation:
- Muscle Relaxation: The gentle massage action of the system can help relax tight muscles, relieving tension and discomfort, especially in areas prone to stiffness such as the back, shoulders, and legs.
- Reduced Muscle Soreness: Endermology can be used post-exercise to help alleviate muscle soreness by promoting circulation and lymphatic drainage, speeding up the recovery process.
- Reduced Inflammation: By stimulating the lymphatic system, the treatment helps reduce inflammation and swelling, which can be beneficial for those with chronic pain or joint conditions.
Improved Skin Texture and Tone:
- Smoother Skin: The mechanical stimulation helps increase circulation, which enhances the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the skin, resulting in smoother, healthier-looking skin.
- Reduction of Fine Lines and Wrinkles: Regular treatments can promote collagen and elastin production, which help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, giving the skin a more youthful, plump look.
- Enhanced Skin Radiance: Improved circulation and increased cellular activity result in a more radiant complexion, making the skin look fresh and rejuvenated.
Detoxification and Increased Circulation:
- Boosted Circulation: By stimulating the blood vessels, Synergie Endermology promotes better oxygenation and nutrient delivery to tissues, improving overall skin health and vitality.
- Effective Detoxification: The enhanced lymphatic drainage helps flush out toxins and metabolic waste from the body, which can reduce puffiness, bloating, and improve overall body health.
Stress Relief and Relaxation:
- Calming and Relaxing Effects: The gentle massage and rhythmic movements of the Synergie system help reduce stress and promote a sense of relaxation, which can be particularly beneficial for individuals dealing with anxiety or muscle tension.
- Improved Sleep Quality: By reducing stress and promoting relaxation, regular sessions may also help improve sleep quality and overall mental well-being.
Post-Surgical Recovery:
- Accelerated Healing: After surgeries such as liposuction or cosmetic procedures, Synergie Endermology can be used to speed up recovery by reducing swelling, improving circulation, and promoting lymphatic drainage.
- Scar Prevention and Treatment: The system can help in reducing the appearance of scars and promote the regeneration of healthy tissue, making it beneficial for individuals who are recovering from surgery or injury.
Non-Invasive and Painless:
- Non-Surgical and Non-Invasive: Unlike surgical procedures, Synergie Endermology is completely non-invasive, requiring no downtime or recovery period. It’s a painless treatment that can be used as a standalone therapy or as part of a comprehensive wellness routine.
- Safe for All Skin Types: The system is suitable for all skin types and tones, making it a versatile treatment option for a wide range of clients.
Long-Lasting Results:
- Sustained Benefits: With regular treatments, the results can last for months, and with a healthy lifestyle, they can be maintained for even longer periods. This makes the Synergie Endermology system a sustainable, long-term solution for improving skin appearance, body contouring, and overall wellness.
Although individual goals and results vary, the recommended protocol is two treatments per week for 8 weeks and once-a-month maintenance treatments thereafter. Individual 40-minute sessions are $60 or you may purchase a full 16-session package for only $800 (save $160!).

Massage
What is Massage Therapy?
Massage Therapy is a type of wellness treatment in which a trained and certified professional manipulates the soft tissues of your body – muscle, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, and skin – using varying degrees of pressure and movement.
Massage is generally considered part of complementary and integrative medicine. It’s increasingly being offered along with standard treatment for a wide range of medical conditions and situations.
Studies of the benefits of massage demonstrate that it is an effective treatment for reducing stress, pain and muscle tension. At the YMCA, massage therapy may be recommended to help people cope with the pain and stress of cancer, heart disease, stomach problems, fibromyalgia or other conditions.
What Are The Various Types Of Massages?
Swedish Massage:
A light massage that consists of long, smooth strokes. The benefits include increased blood circulation, decreased stress and muscle tension and improved range of motion.
Deep Muscle Therapy:
Designed to aid in the restoration of damaged muscles and soft tissue. With its natural healing properties, it helps restore circulation on the cellular level.
Therapeutic Massage:
Beyond relaxation, therapeutic massage can help address injuries or long-term or chronic health issues such as headaches or neck pain. It involves greater pressure and cross-fiber friction against the grain of a muscle, tendon, or ligament. You can get therapeutic deep tissue massage, which can be good for stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders. Or you can get a therapeutic sports massage that can help address injuries or pain from recurrent muscle use or strain. Sometimes therapeutic massage is prescribed as part of a larger therapy program for treating specific issues.
Chair Massage:
Chair massage is performed in a specially designed chair that helps people relax in a seated position. The technique focuses on tension areas of the neck, back, shoulders, arms and hands. Besides relaxing muscles, chair massages can sooth brain activity, increasing concentration and providing greater mental clarity.
