Ashland Greenhouses

April 23, 2021

Let's go on day trip to Ashland for lunch, shopping and a stop at the beautiful Ashland Greenhouses nursery. Enjoy strolling through old town browsing one of the many unique shops on Main Street. Browse through Ashland's Paddington Station Eclectic Emporium with three floors of over 8000 sq feet of merchandise, or the Spice and Tea Exchange with it's fine savory spices, gourmet teas and seasonings. There is also The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Ashland Recycled Furniture with unique, alternative furnishings for the home and garden, and Bloomsbury Books. Enjoy lunch at one of the many yummy downtown restaurants. Then we will jump back on the bus to head to the beautiful Ashland Greenhouses which will be exploding with color! They grow 100% of the plants starts they sell from flowering annuals, vegetable starts, herbaceous perennials, herbs, color bowls and more. Ashland Greenhouses are magnificent!

High Tea at the Painted Lady

Join us for high tea at the beautiful Painted Lady Bed & Breakfast in Myrtle Creek. Enjoy the beauty of this historic home, yard and garden. The tea includes chocolate dipped strawberries, fruit, two different kinds of scones, and assortment of finger sandwiches, quiche and their popular specialty desserts and your choice of tea or coffee. Everything is homemade except for the croissants. Bring a friend or meet one on the trip. Wear your favorite tea hat! If not, the Painted Lady has 100's of hats, gloves and boas available.

Exercise for the physically challenged, designed for people who would like to exercise from the comforts of a wheelchair or the security of being seated. Relieve Stress, Increase Circulation, Improve Strength and Flexibility.

Fitness First

An all-around fitness class using aerobics, weights, and more. Designed for those wanting to get fit, but not there yet. With simple, heart-pumping aerobic moves, you will gain stronger muscles and a better balance to a fit lifestyle.

Movement Improvement

This class is designed for retraining your movement patterns for maximum performance, maximum recovery and maximum health. Movement Improvement helps people get out of pain, improve their health and maximize their performance.

Movin' Groovin

Get your move on with steps that make you want to groove. Latin dance rhythms included.


Core strength is the foundation of Pilates exercise. As you develop your core strength, you develop stability throughout your entire torso. As the trunk is properly stabilized, pressure on the back is relieved and the body is able to move freely and efficiently.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is practiced by over 180 million people each day! Created as an internal or 'soft' martial art, it is being promoted worldwide as a wonderful health benefit, especially for those who face problems with balance, reduced range of motion, or have loss of flexibility & strength. It is practiced with relaxed muscle, and is both graceful & comforting. Known for improving coordination, Tai Chi reduces stress & tension & may lower blood pressure.

Vitality Fitness

Moderate-impact classes with High-impact results. Vitality Fitness is an evidence-based program for older adults that uses simple, easy to-learn movements that motivate individuals, particularly those with arthritis, to stay active throughout their lives.


Hatha Yoga: A gentle, basic class with static poses. This is a slow-paced stretching class with some simple breathing exercises and perhaps seated meditation. Centers on asanas, or physical poses. Ha means sun and tha means moon, creating complementary forces.
Yoga Flow: A blend of moving and held postures to align, strengthen, and stretch the body, mind and spirit. This class includes balance practice, more challenging postures and Sun Salutations. A focus on synchronizing the body's motions and the breath. Yoga Flow is named because of the smooth way the poses run together. The breath becomes an important component because you move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale.
